However, Joe Biden believed that because of the rising inflation, Americans see “positive news in the economy,” which he thought to be a liability.
The US President noted the gradual decrease in fuel prices after it increased sharply, the decrease in the unemployment rate in most parts of the country, and the announcement of Friday “the biggest reduction ever in the federal budget deficit.

He emphasised that the Republicans wanted to “double” the tax breaks for the wealthiest while eliminating the minimum tax on big businesses.
Referring to similar actions made by the previous president Donald Trump, he continued: “This type of approach has failed in the past and will fail again.”
