After a tense 1-0 win over Al-Wahda on Friday night, the Sharjah team was named the President of the UAE Cup for the “2021-2022” season.
The UAE Cup championship game between Sharjah and Al-Wahda was played at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.
Baku Al-Kasir scored Sharjah’s lone goal of the game in the 52nd minute.
The Egyptian player Ahmed Refaat participated in the ranks of Al -Wahda, but was replaced in the 62nd minute.

After a Sharjah player intervened to go closer to the penalty area, Ahmed Rifaat was seen to have an infraction in the opening minutes.
Sharjah player Mohamed Abdel Basset got the first yellow card in the match in the 29th minute.
