Water was turned off in the Aswan neighbourhoods of Sheikh Haroun, the entrance to Kima, Kima Buildings West, Izbat Al-Baddi, Downtown, Atlas, Al-Jazeera, College of Engineering, Al-Hajaab, Al-Salab Al-Masbah, and the Aid Island, according to a statement from the city’s drinking water and sanitation company.
According to a statement released today by Aswan’s drinking water and sewage firm, the water will be turned off from 11 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2022, to 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2022.
And the Aswan drinking water and sewage company ascribed the need for the water reduction to the work being done to replace and renew a number of the city’s main drinking water lines.
The city of Aswan’s drinking water and sewage company requests that residents, owners of bakeries, and hospitals control their water requirements during that time.
Drinking water is delivered to the affected districts by drinking water and sewage vehicles from Aswan.
