“Washington Post”: Mask is planning to separate about 75% of Twitter cadres

After completing his acquisition of Twitter, billionaire Elon Musk intends to separate over 75% of the company’s workforce, according to The Washington Post.
According to the publication, which cited its sources and relied on documents it had access to, there are discussions of cutting “Twitter’s” workforce from its present 7500 personnel to only about two thousand basic cadres.

The newspaper pointed out that “Twitter” is in front of reducing a large percentage of its cadres even in the event that Elon Musk did not acquire it, as the company’s management decided to reduce the expenses on salaries by about 800 million dollars at the end of next year, which requires the dismissal of about a quarter of its employees.
The newspaper claims that “Twitter” intends to scale back its infrastructure, particularly its data handling and storage facilities.

According to the newspaper article, one of the factors driving the “Twitter” administration’s intention to sell the business to Eileon Musk is the need to lay off a sizable portion of cadres.
It is significant that after several months of stalling, negotiations to complete Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter finally concluded this month.
The “Washington Post” reports that it should be finished by October 28.
