A courageous and selfless Egyptian student prevented an old guy from passing away in his flat.
The pioneers of the communication sites in Egypt circulated a video of an Egyptian student who exposed himself to danger to save the elderly from death by burning after the fire was surrounded by his apartment.
The old man was shown in the video making many unsuccessful attempts to descend to his apartment’s lower level and avoid falling and dying while trying to flee the burning building in Nasr City, east of Cairo.
The video displayed the young student’s bravery as he entered the lower apartment wall in a timely manner while disregarding the potential for death in order to rescue the old guy and draw him inside.
According to the statement of eyewitnesses, it turned out that the student, who was not older than 17, was returning from school at the time of the accident when he noticed the situation and decided to act promptly to save the man and those who were with him in the flat.
As a result of being hailed as a hero and being given honours, the student Zahir was showered with praise and admiration on social media.
