News from Al-Madinah: On Thursday, the Turkish Ministry of Defense refuted claims that its forces had used chemical weapons.
This came in a statement issued by the ministry, in which it said: “Our armed forces do not use banned ammunition under the law and international agreements, and this type of ammunition is not present in the stock of the Turkish armed forces. ”
She emphasised that the struggle against terrorism is being waged with tenacity and vigour.
The accusations of the Turkish armed forces using chemical weapons, she continued, “are not unfounded and not real. They are offered periodically by parties wishing to tarnish the reputation of the army’s fight against ongoing terrorism in a very bright and transparent manner, and want to cast their shadows on the success of the Turkish armed forces.
She continued, “Our Turkish armed forces are targeting terrorists only and demonstrating the utmost importance and sensitivity to prevent harm to civilians, historical, religious, cultural, and environmental resources in all operations that they carried out in front of our neighbours and the entire world within the framework of our rights to defend the self -originating from international law.
She emphasised that the terrorist group (BKK), which falls as a result of the armed forces’ fierce combat, is looking for a way to deceive and employ unethical tactics.
She highlighted that the only way out of the terrorists is by turning yourself in to law enforcement and that the Turkish armed forces are steadfastly committed to continuing their fight against terrorism until every last terrorist has been killed.
