The Public Prosecution appeals to the decision to clear Platini and Platter

The Swiss Public Prosecution announced on Thursday that it has decided to reconsider its judgement to exonerate Frenchman Michel Platini and former FIFA President Sepp Blatter in a case involving fraud.
According to the statement, the Public Prosecution “asked the full elimination of the preliminary ruling” in an appeal statement that was delivered to the Federal Criminal Court’s Court of Appeal during the relevant time frame.

The Public Prosecution said that it won’t provide any additional information on this matter.
After six years of investigations and trial over a period of two weeks, the Swiss judiciary was acquitted on the eighth of July Blatter, the European Union president “UEFA” and former football star Platini because there was not enough evidence in a fraud and forgery case that eliminated their administrative careers in the world of football.

In mid-June in Blatter’s prison (86 years old) and Platini (67 years old) with suspended implementation, against the backdrop of fraud in the International Federation (FIFA) with Platini to obtain an unjustified compensation of two million Swiss francs (1. 8 million euros) for a consultant work in favour of Blatter between 1998 and 2002, the Criminal Court in Blinsuna rejected the Public Prosecution’s requests.

In order to formalise their agreement to an oral arrangement to pay 700,000 annually when the International Federation’s finances permitted it, Platini and Balater negotiated a legal agreement in August 1999 mandating that FIFA pay 300,000 Swiss francs annually.
Platini, who held the best European player award three times in the 1980s, was given a two million Swiss franc (1.25 million U.S. dollars) bill for his services as president of the European Union between 2007 and 2015.

8 million euros), which Blatter signed and handed to “FIFA” as a late salary balance at the beginning of 2011, despite the Public Prosecution believing it to be fraudulent.
Blatter stated in front of the judges that the former Juventus player from Italy “deserved a million dollars,” but Blatini claimed that the negotiations were not official enough for him to specify the currency. “For me, and for the joke, I said +Pesitas, Lira, Roble, Mark, You are the one who decides +,” he said.

The two men who demanded their innocence asserted that there was political and judicial interference with the intention of keeping them out of positions of power.
Blatter joined FIFA in 1975, rose to the position of Secretary-General in 1981, and, beginning in 1998, became leadership of the world’s largest football association. In 2015, he was forced to abandon his position and stopped eight years that were reduced to six, for violating the rules of ethics.

Platini, who is regarded as one of the most notable players in football history, also had an eight-year suspension that the Sports Arbitration Court reduced to four.

The judgement to exonerate Platini and Platter is being appealed by the Public Prosecution.
