The German national team coach opens the door to Hamelz’s participation in the World Cup

Mats Hamels, a defender for Borussia Dortmund, has the chance to join the German World Cup squad in Qatar three weeks before the deadline for team announcements.
“I know very well what he thinks and knows what I think about,” said Hans Felk, coach of the German national team in the first episode of the World Cup countdown program, which will be broadcast next Sunday.

In the European Nations Cup “Euro 2020,” which was contested in 2021 owing to the new Corona virus, Hamels was reinstated to the list after being cut by former coach Joachim Loew.
Ham, however, feels that he has not been invited to the German national team’s list since taking charge, and no firm decision has been made regarding his participation at the World Cup in Qatar, according to Felk.

The most notable Felk alternatives in the defence line are Antonio Rudiger, a defender for Real Madrid, and the Dortmund teammates Niklas Zouelle and Nico Schluterely.
Felk hailed the Dortmund defender for his strong performance despite his strong opinions.
Hamels is most likely to be included in the initial list of 55 players that will be forwarded to the International Federation (FIFA) today, according to Felk. “I am interested in growing this season that it seems very appropriate,” Felk added.

Flick clarified that despite the team’s recent lacklustre performance, the primary objective of the World Cup is to go, participate, win the championship, and claim the title of world champion.
On November 23, the German squad will face Japan to begin its tournament career. On November 27, it will face Spain, and on December 1 it will face Costa Rica to end its group stage career.

The World Cup participation of Hamelz is made possible by the head coach of the German national team.
