Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool star and captain of the Egyptian national team, topped a referendum conducted by the World Cup account on the “Twitter” of the International Football Association, about the fastest Arab player.
The account displayed a survey asking followers who they believed to be the quickest Arab player in history.
Most of the followers’ and tweeters’ answers pointed to Mohamed Salah, but some Moroccan Ashraf Hakimi also suggested Yasser Al-Shahrani, the back of the Saudi crescent, and Paris Saint-Germain.
Others included Abdullah Al-Shehhan, a former member of the Saudi national team and player for the young squad.
Others went on to claim that Yasser Ryan, a former Al-Ahly standout, was the fastest Arab player while he competed.
