Russia: Kyiv forces sow mine on roads between residential buildings

Constantine Forentsov, the deputy head of the Russian delegation to the UN, stated that explosives are being planted by the Kyiv forces on the routes connecting homes and in the still-controlled districts.

According to the “Russia Today” channel, the Russian diplomat stated that the Ukrainian forces intend to plant mines on the sides of roads between residential areas, rural paths, bridges, dams, and areas surrounding residential buildings where there are children as well as educational and medical institutions.

He explained that the Ukrainian forces were planting mines in the center of Donetsk and their suburbs, pointing out at the same time that the prohibited anti -personnel mines were constantly placed.
He emphasised how these measures are blatantly against international humanitarian law, including the ban on anti-personnel mines.
