NATO expects cooperation between Europe and Russia to return

According to NATO’s deputy secretary general, Mercy Giwana, both Europe and Russia are anticipated to resume their previous levels of collaboration. She emphasised that Russia must abide by the UN Charter.

During a discussion on the future of European security in Washington, Giwana added, “I cannot say that Russia will once again become a participant in the European standard and cooperation system, when it is decided to leave (Ukraine), adhere to the rules of the United Nations Charter, and act as a responsible international player.

He claims that once Moscow agrees to these terms, there will be no “cause that stops European countries from reviewing” the current state of affairs.
Earlier, the Russian deputy envoy to the United Nations stressed that Moscow will re -evaluate its cooperation with the Secretary -General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres and its employees if Guterres sent experts to Ukraine to inspect the drones that Western powers say they were made in Iran.
