Voludmir Zellinski, the president of Ukraine, charged the Russians on Thursday night with shutting down the dam at a power facility in the south of his country, which is under the control of forces loyal to Moscow.
In his daily statement on social media, Zellinski stated, “According to our information, Russian terrorists inserted, brought them up, and bridged them.”
The president of Ukraine continued, “In the event that the dam is damaged.
It will be a “widespread calamity” and the North Crimea channel will vanish.
This notion was earlier proposed by Zellinski in a brief address before the European Union Council.
It is noteworthy that the Kakhovka Station was built to generate hydroelectric energy on the Dnieber River in an area currently under the control of the Russian army and not far from the line of contact with the Ukrainian forces.

Russian bombing of Ukrainian energy facilities, according to Zellinski, “aims to produce the greatest number of electrical and heating problems for Ukraine in the fall and winter and to persuade the greatest number of Ukrainians to go to your nations.”
The Ukrainian President responded by urging the European nations to supply the Ukrainian army with more sophisticated air defences and to put greater economic penalties on Moscow to lessen its ability to fund the conflict.
He also emphasised that, in light of the Ukrainian army’s warnings about the threat of a larger Russian onslaught from Belarusian territory, the Ukrainian plan to send an international monitoring team to the Ukrainian-Belarusian border “becomes more important every day.”
Russia is striking power plants in Kyiv to persuade Ukrainians to leave the country.
