Kadyrov calls for tightening penalties for advertising promoters for “M and Community”

Ramadan Kadyrov, the president of the Russian Republic of Chechnya, demanded that Russia’s sanctions against those who advocate for the M and Homaian community be tightened in response to a draught bill that had been presented to the Russian parliament on this subject.
“I consider it an honour for me to live in a country where there is a father and a mother, a son and a girl, and where literature and film inform us and announce natural relationships in healthy and strong families,” Kadyrov added.

He emphasised that the prohibition on gay advertising is “a significant, valuable, and crucial move for every family, and for the entire state.
A draught bill prohibiting the media’s promotion of homosexuality was previously delivered to the Duma Council.
