Danny Alves intends to acquire a Portuguese club

According to local press sources, former Barcelona player and Brazilian international defender Danny Alves indicated interest in buying Amura, a Portuguese third-class team.
The Portuguese sports newspaper “Record” indicated that Alves, 39, represents part of a group of investors who want to join the Amura project, owned by 75% of the Spanish Odemira Capital group.

In a meeting in Barcelona with Spanish tycoon Jose Maria Jayjo, who owns the aforementioned group and the bulk of the shares in the modest Portuguese club, Alves, who is presently donning the jersey of the Mexican Pomas squad, reportedly brought up the situation.

The sources say that because the negotiations are still in their early stages, it is unclear at this point whether the former Barcelona player intends to purchase all or a portion of the club’s shares.
Amur, a municipal club of the same name, is about 20 km from Lisbon, currently in the Portuguese third division, and Odemira Capital acquired it in mid -2021..
