After the Russian Maria Sharapova, American Coco Gov, the seventh-seeded player, has qualified for the World Association of Professional Tennis players’ final tournament.
Joff qualified for the individual and marital categories competitions for the final championship, after a stunning season, which witnessed her qualification for the first time to the final of one of the Grand Great Grand Championships, the achievement it achieved during the French Open.
Joff defeated Elizabetta Coxarrito of Italy 7/6 (1/7) and 6/3 to advance to the Jadalakara Open Championship quarterfinals.
The 18-year-old Jov is the first American player to qualify for the final tournament since her countrywoman Lindsay Davborte did so 28 years ago. She is also the youngest player to do so since Sharapova accomplished the same feat in 2005.

Jessica Jaoffa Caroline Garcia from France and Jessica Peugeot participated in the championship game.
The ultimate championship will begin in Texas on October 31.
