China pledges to participate actively in global climate change

Chi Cheng, the deputy minister of ecology and environment in China, stated that his nation will cooperate with all parties to actively combat climate change, and that it will strengthen a fair and logical global system for governing the environment with the goal of achieving mutually beneficial outcomes. It also said that it will continue to strengthen its climate change cooperation with the countries of the south and contribute to its strength, knowledge, and solutions.

Chai added – at a press conference on the sidelines of the 20th National Conference of the Communist Party of China, reported by the Chinese News Agency on Friday – that Beijing has actively contributed to global climate governance, noting that China as the largest developing country in the world will reduce the intensity of carbon emission in the scientist. He emphasized that China adheres to pluralism and the idea of shared responsibility, but that each country has distinct capacities. He also noted that Beijing has enhanced the signing of the Paris Agreement and is now moving into the implementation phase.
