Britain and the United States cooperate in enhancing cyberspace

In a cooperative effort to improve security and cyber flexibility, the British strategic leadership declared its collaboration with the cyber-American leadership and other partners.
The personnel of the British Strategic Command’s Digital Defense Department will participate in the training that will identify the risks that could have an impact on the participants’ internal systems, according to a statement on the website of the British government.

All partners will be informed of the operation’s conclusions in order to improve security and coordinate a coordinated reaction to detrimental cyberattacks.

The Director of Operations for the Department of Digital Defense, Admiral Nick Washr, stated that “the electronic space does not limit geographical borders and our relations with the partners provide huge common advantages. Training like this with the American cyber leadership places our experience under implementation and enhances our collective defence.

He echoed the sentiments of Matthew C. Paradise, Deputy Director of Operations for the American Cyber Command, who stated that defensive electronic space operations help the American cyber leadership carry out its duties by facilitating and enhancing the guarantee of the joint power’s mission as well as that of our allies and partners by maintaining networks that can be reliably protected.

He continued by saying that the internet age has made the world more connected than ever, which has pushed opportunity, innovation, and advancement. However, this growing digitization also brings unprecedented complexity, instability and risks, which makes global partnerships essential to our security and economic prosperity..

Cooperation between the UK and the US is improving cyberspace.
