Before the two sides’ English Premier League encounter on Saturday night, Brighton defender Joel Feltman discussed his strategy for containing Manchester City striker Airling Halland’s threat.
Halland tops the top scorer in the competition’s top scorer with 15 goals he scored in only 10 previous games, and he also scored three consecutive triads at the “Al -Ittihad” stadium this season.
In comments quoted by the newspaper “Daily Star,” the Dutch defender claimed: “What Halland offers with De Bruyne is something that is not defence in front of him.”
He continued: He is the attacker who possesses everything, but we must stop his seriousness, perhaps we have to implement the “Sandwich” plan, where he has a fighter midfielder and behind him a defender who does not leave him, perhaps we will succeed.
And if the Feltman strategy is successful and Brighton wins the game’s points, it will be the team’s first victory in four games.
