Blinkin: There is no imminent revival of the nuclear agreement … and Russia is ascending to Ukraine

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken stated on Friday that negotiation is the best course of action for dealing with the issue of Iran’s nuclear program.
However, he added that Washington does not see at the present time an imminent revival of the 2015 nuclear agreement because Tehran is involved in exotic issues on negotiations.

In another context, Blinken said in a press conference that he does not see evidence that Russia is interested in ending the war in Ukraine, adding that Moscow is paying, instead, in the opposite direction.
Blinken added that if Washington believes there is a chance to improve relations with Russia, it will explore all options.

According to TASS News Agency, this occurs as US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and his Russian counterpart Sergey Shoigu spoke on Friday for the first time since May. The famous Russian diplomat noted that the communication was essential and required to clear up misunderstandings.
The US Department of Defense withheld information other than to say that Austin was the one who initiated the call and emphasized the importance of communication channels in the Ukrainian conflict.

Tass quoted the Russian diplomat residing in Vienna, Cenantine Gavrillov, as saying to Russian TV: “Misunderstanding must be removed so that there are no accidents . . . There are always crucial contacts, and it is crucial that Americans look for them first “.

Blinkin: The nuclear agreement is not about to be revived, and Russia is moving closer to Ukraine.
