After conducting a poll with 800 international companies in 57 countries around the world, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank Group came out on top of the list of banking institutions in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. It also placed among the top five companies in the region on the list of “the best employment agencies in the world for the year 2022.”
150,000 employees from around the world took part in the poll that was done by “Forbes” in conjunction with the market research firm “Statista”.
The Forbes list’s companies were picked because they excelled in a number of categories, including social responsibility, economic impact, talent development, and gender equality.
Lone 9 Middle Eastern corporations were on the list, and the only banking institution from the UAE was Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank.
“We are always keen to retain attention to our workers at the top of our strategic priorities, and that our established principles of integrity, interest, ambition, respect, and discipline remain part of our institutional culture,” stated Alaa Erekat, CEO of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank Group.
For his part, Ali Darwish, head of the human resources group at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, stated: “In 2021, we have provided more than 280 thousand training hours up until the end of September in various fields such as digital technology, electronic security, customer experiences, and data analysis. Employees at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank come from more than 80 different nationalities, and women make up 42% of the bank’s total workforce.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank was added to the Forbes list following the completion of a thorough questionnaire for the Global Institutional Health Index in 2021, which led to the bank’s placement in the top decimal percentile of all global corporations in terms of coordination, control, innovation, learning, and collaboration with outside parties.
The top Gulf bank on Forbes’ ranking of the best employment firms is “Abu Dhabi Commercial.”
