The film “The Super 8 Years,” which was directed by Nobel Prize winner Annie Erno and her son David Irno Berriot, has been distributed around the world by Totem Films.

According to the Fariti magazine, the 8mm documentary film was sold to the Scandinavian countries under the title (without stopping), Italy under the title (I wonder), Spain under the title (two films), Portugal under the title (Midas), Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. It also contains information about Annie Erno before her success as a writer.

The movie made its debut in a manager’s week earlier this year, and since then, it has attended wonderful festivals in Busan, Rome, New York, and Zurich.
After airing on ARTE, New Story will be distributed in France on December 14.

Perinis Vincent and Lauer Baraliani of Totim Film were quoted by Annie Erno, a well-known author and the recipient of the Nobel Prize in Literature for 2022, as saying: “This documentary is a screen-expansion for its powerful, international, and political efforts. Next, be awarded the Nobel Prize, which is absolutely deserving.”
A text prepared by Annie Erno that she read out as a commentary is included with the movie.

Annie Erno says of the movie: “When watching the excellent film that was filmed between 1972 and 1981, it came to me that it does not only include a family archive, but it is a testimony of entertainment, lifestyle and the aspirations of the social class in the contract that fell in 1968. In order to capture the flavour and colour of those years, I wanted to incorporate these silent images into a narrative that combines intimacy with social history.
