Washington: We have many evidence of Russia’s use of Iranian marches in Ukraine

The US State Department declared that Washington had “a lot of evidence” that Russia deployed Iranian military marches in Ukraine, highlighting the strength of this proof despite Tehran’s continued “lying and exile.”
Ned Price, a spokesman for the US State Department, said in a statement on Wednesday that “we will not hesitate to implement sanctions and other appropriate measures against all individuals participating in these attempts to transport” marches from Iran to Russia.

This follows a closed-door UN Security Council meeting on Wednesday regarding allegations that Iran supplied military marches to Russia. The Russian Deputy Delegate to the UN called Dmitry Polansky’s comments regarding Western accusations of Iran regarding this matter “new misinformation” and emphasised that the UN Security Council lacks the authority to look into such allegations.

Fidan Patel, the spokesperson for the US State Department, said that “providing Iran in Russia with these designated types of drones is a breach of UN Security Council Resolution 2231, a matter of the UN Security Council.

According to Amir Said Irwani, Iran’s ambassador to the UN, the charges that Tehran has supplied Russia with military marches are “baseless and unfounded assertions,” and Tehran has reiterated its desire for a “peaceful settlement” of the conflict in Ukraine.

According to a diplomatic source in France, the UN Security Council will hold a public discussion on the protection of civilians on Friday at the request of France and Mexico to consider the subject of “random strikes against people” in Ukraine that may constitute “war crimes.”
