Jose Luis Jaya, the captain of Valencia, extended his contract with the “bats” through 2027, the club stated today, Wednesday, and he hosted an event on the field to formally announce this arrangement.
According to the Spanish News Agency, the two parties reached an agreement on a five-season contract that will begin immediately this year and last through June 30, 2027.
Jaya, a 27-year-old international player from Spain, started playing for Valencia when he was 11 years old. Valencia awarded him the King’s Cup in 2018.
