Ukraine is preparing for a major interruption in electrical services after Russian attacks on the electricity network

Due to Russian strikes on energy infrastructure, which sparked worries about the conditions the war-torn country may endure over the winter, Ukraine is currently working to minimise energy use.
Before the power outages that would begin today and last up to four hours, Okrango National Energy Company urged the Ukrainians to charge their phones, Power Banks, and batteries and make sure they had ready-made lamps.

To lessen the power outage, all residents have been asked to use as little electricity as possible between the hours of seven in the morning and ten in the evening.
In some homes in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv, the electricity was briefly turned off on Wednesday evening.
The Russian army began using more and more aircraft and missiles built in Iran to attack Ukraine’s civil infrastructure, including its water and electrical sources, at the beginning of last week.

Following Russian strikes on the energy network, Ukraine is preparing for a significant disruption in electrical services.
