The volume of trade exchange between Japan and Russia decreased by 14% in September

In September, the amount of trade exchanged between Japan and Russia fell by 14. 4% as compared to the same month previous year, totaling around $1. 17 billion.
According to trade statistics released by the Japanese Ministry of Finance, Japan’s exports to Russia fell by 31.4% in September, while imports fell by 6.5%.
In comparison to the previous year, the Japanese trade imbalance with Russia climbed by 17%, totaling around $547 million.

In September, Japan did not import any Russian oil, and its LNG purchases fell by around 10.7% from the same time last year.
In contrast, the amount of charcoal shipped from Russia to Japan fell by 82% in September.
