Chero Imobili, the top scorer for Lazio and an international for Italy, will miss the remainder of the season due to a thigh injury, according to his club.
Imobili came out of his team’s match on Sunday against Udinese (0-0) after half an hour has passed, and Lazio reported in his statement that “the player was injured in the left thigh muscle” without indicating the period of the player’s absence from the stadiums.
However, the Italian media said that the striker for the national team of Italy will frequently miss Lazio’s final games of the year.
With six goals, Emobili is tied for first place with Austrian striker Marco Arnatovic of Bologna and Serbian striker Doshan Flisovic of Juventus in the Italian league.
The Italian league will stop in mid -November and its activities will not return until the beginning of next year, in order to make way for the World Cup finals in Qatar, knowing that the Italian national team will not participate in the tournament because it does not qualify for it.
