The German Minister of Interior calls for reducing migration via the Balkan Road

The Balkan Road should be used less for illegal immigration, German Interior Minister Nancy Veriz said the German “RND” news organisation in words that were released early on Thursday morning.
Additionally, Verezer believed that the European authorities shared responsibility for stopping illegal immigration “so that we can continue to help people who need urgently to support us.” Verezer made this statement prior to a conference in Berlin with representatives of countries from the West Balkans.

Since the start of the war, more than a million Ukrainian refugees have arrived in Germany.
She also noted that more travellers use the Balkan Road and the Mediterranean to enter Europe.
At the meeting today, Thursday, in Berlin, a series of measures aimed at reducing migration through the Balkan Road will be considered.

This entails bringing the Western Balkan countries’ visa policies into compliance with criteria set by the European Union, preventing smuggling, and providing adequate security.
