A Russian national and two businesses connected to him have been sanctioned by the US Treasury as a result of the transfer of critical American technologies to Russia.
In a statement released today, the US ministry claimed that Yuri Yorvic Oureikov obtained sophisticated technological equipment from the US through his two companies, including semiconductors and precise processors, and then transferred it to Russian entities, including businesses that were subject to US sanctions.
Some of these technologies, she pointed out, were discovered in Russian armaments employed in the military assault on Ukraine, and they can be utilised in combat planes, ocean missile systems, radars, or satellites.
In order to transfer American technologies to Russia, the American Treasury places penalties on a Russian national.
