The American administration launches the national biological defense strategy

The National Biological Defense Strategy, which establishes a road map to assist us in planning for and protecting against future biological threats, whether they emerge naturally, sporadically, or intentionally, was unveiled today, Wednesday, according to US Secretary of State Anthony Blancin.

In a statement reported by the US State Department, Plinken added that the strategy determines a bold vision by transforming the ability of the federal government to prevent the spread of diseases, discover, prepare for them, respond to them and recover from them, along with our partners – including our international partners.
“Infectious diseases that traverse borders and cause societal disturbance are a threat to national security and global stability,” he continued.

We have seen the effects of diseases like Kofid-19 during the past two years in both America and other parts of the world, which have resulted in millions of deaths and economic losses totaling billions of dollars.

He continued, “In addition to Kofid-19, the international world is battling concurrent epidemics of monkey chickenpox, polio, ebola, many illnesses, and other infectious diseases, as well as difficulties that were made worse by changes in the climate and global travel patterns. The semi-global ban doesn’t stop it from happening. By creating biological weapons, some nations and organisations hope to use the disease’s devastation for their own ends.

We must tolerate the lack of confrontation in the face of biological threats, the US Secretary of State underscored, notwithstanding how difficult it is to prevent, discover, and respond to them.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will play a significant role in advancing these efforts, he said in conclusion.

To accomplish these objectives, we must collaborate with our international partners to strengthen capabilities for preventing, identifying, and successfully countering biological threats at their source, as well as to promote global attention to these problems.

The National Biological Defense Strategy is introduced by the American administration.
