Project Development Authority qualifies trainers to train graduates to develop and set up small projects

Nevin Jameh, CEO of the Projects Development Authority, reaffirmed the organization’s interest in qualifying recent graduates, women, and citizens looking to start small projects through free training programmes offered to all citizens in all branches of the organisation at the level of the Republic and carried out by the organisation in collaboration with the International Labor Organization.

She emphasised that the agency collaborates with government organisations and academic institutions and helps to build training cadres by certifying trainers to work with graduates and targeted groups, particularly women, to start their own projects in a methodical manner and increase their chances of success.

She cited the conclusion of two training sessions held by the Project Development Authority in conjunction with the Arab Women Investors Union and Al-Shorouk Academy, where 42 trainers and trainers were trained, with the aim of developing qualified training cadres that offer specialised rehabilitation courses for graduates and those looking to establish projects and encourage them to forge ahead with self-employment and start their own projects. Beyond educating project owners on how to grow their businesses and introducing them to the benefits and incentives provided by Project Development Law 152/2020, we also urge current projects to join the official sector so that they can benefit from these incentives and benefits.

Jama added that coordination is underway with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology to train a number of clubs of entrepreneurship, research centers and technological offices affiliated with the academy with the aim of expanding the training of the targeted groups and qualifying them to start new projects.

Raafat Abbas, head of the non -financial services sector in the agency, stated that the agency trainers carried out in cooperation with the Arab Investors Union a training course trainers on the project women program, which will go ahead to train a number of trainers in the Arab Investors Union, which is currently preparing the necessary training plan for beneficiaries of the services of the Federation in the regions most in need.

Abbas continued, “The agency’s trainers implemented at the Sunrise Academy a training course trainers on the Start and Good project programme with the aim of creating cadres from university professors in the field of small projects to aid graduates and students of the final years in starting their projects on scientific foundations to reduce the rate of risk and increase the likelihood of success.”
