Egyptians are still dealing with the fallout from the singer Sherine Abdel Wahab’s dilemma, but the leader of the country’s musical scene, musician Mustafa Kamel, just shared additional information concerning her confinement in a mental facility.
On the eve of his meeting with the leader of the actors, the artist Ashraf Zaki, yesterday, Wednesday, Kamel said in statements to him that he had received a call from one of his friends who was with the divorced Sherine, the singer Hossam Habib, and that he had been informed that she had been abducted under the threat of the white weapon and taken against the hospital under a false name.
He noted that he was informed of what had happened to the proprietor of “Ah Ya Lail” at midnight on October 15, and that he had immediately spoken with a representative of the Ministry of Interior who had given him a thorough explanation of the circumstances and explained that they were aware of the situation five days before it spread.
The security officer reportedly stated that the divorced musician attempted to edit a report of the event, but his request was denied since he is not legally a member of the Sherine population, according to The Syndicate of Musicians, who continued his speech.
Although Kamel, who is also not a member of her family, sensed her shame at the moment, he continued to press on her support as a colleague, friend, and leader of the musicians.
