Aston Villa coach Stephen Gerard has said that Philippe Coutinho, the English Premier League footballer, requires “some luck” similar to his side to regain his best levels.
Coutinho did not contribute in any goals, whether scoring or assisting, throughout his 11 appearances with Aston Villa this season, which is one point above of the relegation zone after 10 games.
Gerard told media on the eve of his league match against Fulham on Wednesday: “In his age and the skill he has, I have tremendous trust in an elephant.”
He stated: “Clearly, statistics show that it is not at its finest right now,” as we all know. However, as a technical device and as a coach, we will supply him with all necessary assistance.
He said, “He pushes hard, tries, and perhaps, like the club, he needs some luck to boost his confidence.”
Aston Villa have lost their past three Premier League games.
Coutinho need “luck,” according to Gerard.
