“Botto” is an Egyptian movie that will receive the Bahrain Film Festival award

The 11-minute film “Putto,” which was produced in 2021, is about two lower-class families who decide to own a single home.
According to “Reuters,” the jury at the Bahrain Film Festival gave Saudi filmmaker Khaled Zidan its special award for the film “Othman,” which was written by Abdel Aziz Al-Issa and starred Ahmed Yaqoub and bravery.

The committee also awarded certificates of appreciation to the directors of the Palestinian film “Six days is not enough,” Mahmoud Abu Shamsiya and visitor Mitwalli, the director of photography of the Emirati film “A Place in Time,” Ricardo Prats, and a certificate.

Ahmed Akbar’s film “Salam” won the Farid Ramadan Award in the Bahraini Film Competition, and the jury also gave actor Jamaan Al-Ruwaie a certificate of appreciation for his work in the film “Tih Al-Hamam” and director Mahmoud Jawad a certificate of appreciation for the film “The shoe that younger every night.”

Director Fayza Amba of the Saudi documentary “Joy” won the competition.
The Egyptian film “Bakra Khait,” which was directed by Aya Madani, took first place in the competition for movement films.
The festival organized by the Bahrain Film Club was launched on October 15 under the slogan (Cinema for You) with the participation of 49 films..
