Bayern Munich advanced to the round of 16 of the German Cup for the current season 2022–2023 with a convincing 5-2 win over Augsburg in the match that pitted the two teams against one another on Wednesday night at the “Empols Arena” stadium.
Mads Pedersen of the Augsburg team scored the game’s first goal nine minutes into the contest, while Eric Maxim Chopo Motting of Bayern Munich levelled the score in the 27th minute.
In the second half, the Bavarian team managed to score a double within 6 minutes by Joshua Kimmich and Eric Maxim Chopo Motting in the 53rd and 59th minutes, and the land owners scored the second goal by Bayern Munich defender Diotutumuano in his goal.
Instead of losing the game, Bayern Munich came back to score a new dualism in the 74th and first minute of play thanks to Jamal Musial and Alvonso Davis.
After the Hanover team went above and beyond a clean double earlier today, Wednesday, Dortmund had qualified for the same position.
