At today’s meeting of the Russian Security Council, Russian President Vladimir Putin decided the monthly monetary compensation that those who signed up to take part in the Russian military action in Ukraine will receive.
The Russian president indicated that the individuals who were filled with the rank of a recruiter will receive a financial allowance of 195 thousand rubles per month (about 3200 dollars) after joining their units.
Putin said at the meeting: “Today I signed instructions on strict adherence to the specific conditions and payments of payments (for the individuals who have been filled), I will remind you that (monthly financial compensation) must reach at least 195 thousand rubles (for recruits). ”
The Russian president further stated that the calculation of the financial allowance will begin on the day the person reports to his military unit, taking into account any training time.
Additionally, he said that additional financial assistance would be given to the families of those who would be called up as part of Russia’s partial mobilisation.
