The Financial Armed Forces conducted airstrikes north of the Kidal area in the Tsalit area, killing 50 gunmen.
Colonel Ibrahim Samsa, the man in charge of the Gao Financial Zone, revealed that the air action led to the death of 50 militants, the burning of 5 armoured vehicles, and the damage of 35 militant-owned motorcycles.
The airstrikes occur a day after two explosive devices detonated alongside a convoy of the UN peacekeeping mission “Minosma,” killing four Chadian soldiers and injuring two more.
In the Financial Army’s airstrikes, 50 gunmen were slain.
