11 days before the second session .. Polsonaro reduces the difference between him and Lula

An opinion poll whose findings were released on Wednesday, 11 days before the second session, revealed that the radical Gayer Bolsonaro, the outgoing president of Brazil, had narrowed the gap between himself and his leftist rival, former president Luis Inacio Lula da Silva.
The “Data Foulha” Institute poll revealed that 52% of respondents planned to vote for the former Marxist president, compared to 48% for the incumbent leader.

According to a previous poll released on October 14, Lola received 53% of the vote intentions, compared to 47% for Polsonaro.
The candidates are attempting to win over voters in the second session, which is scheduled for next October 30, by appealing to those who have not yet made up their minds and those who say they will cast their votes with a white paper or with a loud voice during the frenzied final stages of the campaign.

Lula received 48% of the vote in the first session, which took place on October 2, compared to Bolsonaro’s 43%.
After the first session, the numerous reconnaissance institutions came under heavy fire since they had not anticipated the outstanding performance by the outgoing president, who had received an average of 37% of the maximum vote intentions in the majority of the surveys.

After the latest poll was released on Wednesday, the daily “Fulha de So Paulo” stated that it “does not necessarily imply an advantage of the outcome, but rather reflects the opinion of the voter at the moment his opinion is investigated.”
The new survey, which was conducted over the last three days with a sample of 2912 voters spread over 181 Brazilian cities, had a margin of error of two percentage points.

With 11 days left before the second session, Polsonaro narrows the gap between himself and Lula.
