Watch the Crown Prince of Kuwait cry during the recitation of a Quranic verse in the National Assembly

Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince of Kuwait, sobbed while delivering a speech in the first sessions of the new Kuwaiti National Assembly following the elections. He was captured on camera by the council and posted the clip to his Twitter account. He was crying while reciting Surat Al-Imran in the Holy Quran, drawing warm applause from the audience.
He emphasised in his speech that “the council must refrain from issuing bids, raising sessions before the planned date, and proposing votes that veer from the literature of dialogue,” and that “the executive authority bears the duty for going to the bottom and addressing the needs.”
