On the unofficial black market, the value of the dollar increased against the Lebanese lira on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.
The price of the green currency significantly dropped, falling from 37 thousand pounds to less than 30 thousand pounds Lebanese, as a result of two urgent generalisations that the Central Bank of Lebanon issued, the first to banks and the second to holders of the lira who wanted to convert it to dollars.
