The Golden Ball award for the best player in the world in 2022 was received by Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, a friend of American model Jordan Ozuna’s from France.
At a ceremony conducted by the renowned French magazine France Football at the Shatleh Theater in Paris, the French capital, last Monday, Benzema, 34, received the prestigious honour.
Three pictures were uploaded by Ozuna on her official Instagram account, one of which features Benzema.
In the first shot, Ozuna could be seen grasping Benzema’s arm; in the second, she could be seen reflected in a golden ball; and in the third, their hands could be seen while donning matching bracelets.
These images confirmed that there is no room for doubt, the rumors that the duo have followed during the past few months, about the existence of an emotional relationship between them.

After receiving the award, and his indications of short statements to the media and attendance, the Real Madrid star and the French national team called his mother and son to share this historic moment, while his girlfriend Jordan joined him, on the plane on the trip to Madrid.
Benzema became the ninth player in the Royal Club to win the trophy since 2000 and the fifth French player to do so as he took home the Golden Ball award for the first time in the award’s history.
Real Madrid won the Spanish League, Spanish Super Cup, and Champions League under Benzema’s guidance in the 2021–2022 season.
Along with winning the European Nations League with France, it was followed by defeating Eintracht Frankfurt to win the European Super Cup.
