The second book of author Youssef Aboria’s complete works has been published by the Egyptian General Book Authority. The book includes three novels from the works of the late writer Youssef Abu Raya, namely: “Silence of the Tannas”, “The Night of the Wedding”, and “Banjo Nights”.
Basic elements from Youssef Abu Raya Al-other Ghani’s novels and anecdotal collections are repeated in these three novels to create his distinctive and interconnected world. These three novels share a close unity where eating occurs frequently and grows, Youssef Aboria is concerned with expression, and there are various rituals about how the countryside changes into the city.

And he is eager to get to the story and the narrative facts with its reference times, as if it offers a literary history of the changes that take place to a particular area of the Egyptian countryside in particular periods, where the predominance of a kind of childish nostalgia for the past innocence times, and where the book that rises to represent the aesthetics of the concerted popular story. And where the language that draws from the sources of idealism and inherited wisdom, even if it remains a believer to the current worlds full of the causes of life.
