Romania and Azerbaijan intend to build a liquefied natural gas station in the Black Sea

According to Nikolai Cheyuka, the prime minister of Romania, his nation and Azerbaijan want to construct a liquefied natural gas station off the Black Sea coast that will supply the EU member directly with liquefied gas.

Cheyuka stated today that a memorandum pertaining to the new station will be signed later today, Wednesday, by the state-owned natural gas company “Romak” and the Azerbaijani government energy company “Sukar,” according to a report from the Bloomberg News Agency. This will serve as the foundation for future joint investments.
More information on the station was not provided by the prime minister of Romania.
In the meantime, Choika explained that more than 90% of the gas storage facilities in Romania are filled.

A liquefied natural gas station is being planned by Romania and Azerbaijan for the Black Sea.
