Lavrov: Russian diplomats abroad work under conditions that are difficult to describe as human

The prior diplomatic presence of Russia in Western nations is no longer necessary, according to Sergey Lavrov, the foreign minister of Russia, who made the announcement on Tuesday. Russian diplomats are currently stationed in those nations in conditions that are impossible to call humane.

“Preserving the former presence in Western nations, when our personnel labour there in conditions that are hard to define as humane, and issues are regularly created for them, is neither beneficial nor desired; they suffer threats of physical attacks. Most importantly, there is no work there that has to be done because Europe opted to distance itself from us and stop our economic collaboration.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is now a geographical directive of activities abroad and in the central office, and it will change its “centre of gravity” into nations that are prepared to cooperate with the Russian Federation on an equal footing and on the basis of mutual benefit while also looking for promising joint projects.
Due to Western anti-Russian stance, many Russian diplomats, according to Lavrov, cut short their work travels overseas before the deadline.

The nations of Asia, Africa, and Latin America, on the other hand, need more attention, according to Lavrov, as many programmes are coordinated at the highest levels and call for diplomatic help, corporate backing, and collaborative projects in the arts, humanitarian relief, and education.
