Atomic Energy Agency: The detention of two workers at the Zaburigia nuclear station in southern Ukraine

Two more Ukrainian nuclear workers, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency, are being detained at the Russian-occupied Zaburigia Nuclear Energy Station in southern Ukraine.
Recently, two other employees and the nuclear power plant’s deputy director were detained. The International Atomic Energy Agency states that the director was released but that the other two have not.

The recent incarceration of two additional personnel, which was confirmed by the International Atomic Energy Agency, deeply concerned the Agency’s Director General, Rafael Grossi. I sincerely hope that this troubling issue will be resolved shortly, he continued.
The station’s director had been briefly imprisoned by the Russian side, but he was freed earlier this month.

The largest nuclear power plant in Europe, which is currently under Russian administration but is still operating with Ukrainians, is always surrounded by a huge number of IAEA experts who are there to monitor the situation.
