“A great treasure and wealth” .. an expert reveals to RT how Egypt exploits the black sand

Amr Youssef, an economist from Egypt, showed how Egypt uses the black sand to generate significant financial gain.
According to the Egyptian economist, “It appears that nature reconciles with Egypt with multiple discoveries because of the wealth that the Egyptian environment has not yet been utilised, but rather has not yet been discovered.

Youssef continued, “After years of lack of interest in the so-called “black sand,” which is found on Egypt’s northern beaches and has suffered from a lack of good exploitation, a sizable project has now been announced, and a sizable factory has opened as the cornerstone for a national initiative that carries goodness within its folds.

Due to the significance of the sand and several metal components, which are used to make paint, automobile constructions, aeroplanes, and oil pipelines, as well as in the medical industry where they can be used to make prosthetic teeth, Egypt and the structure of its economy in general.

He pointed out that Egypt is full of dark metal deposits through more than ten sites with different concentrations, starting from Rashid to Al -Arish, with a coast exceeding 400 km distributed over four sites “Rashid, Baltim, Damietta and North Sina Depending on the rise or fall of the area in question as well as the impact of various other climatic elements, from one place to another.

Youssef outlined the three stages of the black sand project’s implementation. The first stage involves extracting heavy metals from black sand. The second stage involves separating the minerals separately through natural industrial processes. The third stage is the value-added stage, which maximises the added value for the productive minerals. As a result, the raw product is not sold again in its original form but rather in one that is more useful and productive.

He pointed out that Egypt has begun a national initiative to separate significant economic minerals that are used in numerous industrial products, including the paint industry’s Rotille metal and allenty, the production of ceramic and prosthetic teeth’s zircon metal, the production of nuclear fuel covers, and numerous other strategic industries, as well as the packaging of oil pipes’ magnite element and radioactive materials.

The Egyptian expert affirmed that with the success of this project, the Egyptian economy will confirm its diversity and different sources, so that Egypt takes a place among the major industrialized countries, which works to move the helm of the Egyptian economy forward.
