The Special Envoy of the President of Russia to the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Boujdanov, and Dr. Anwar bin Muhammad Gargash, the diplomatic advisor to the Emirati President, spoke today, Tuesday, about the development of bilateral relations and how to strengthen them to serve their shared interests, as well as recent regional and global developments of concern.
According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Gargash emphasised that the UAE’s policy would continue to support regional and global peace and stability, and that every effort was being made to reduce tensions and escalation in different parts of the world. He also noted that all parties to the Ukrainian crisis were continuing their serious consultations in an effort to find a peaceful solution to the crisis.
For his part, Boujdanov respected the Emirates’ contributions and ongoing work to advance world peace and security.
Russia and the UAE are looking for ways to strengthen their bilateral ties.
