According to the Ukrainian Public Prosecution, at least two individuals were murdered on Tuesday in Russian airstrikes that hit crucial Kyiv infrastructure and resulted in power and water outages along a riverbank in the city.
The prosecution issued a statement saying, “According to preliminary information, two people were slain and another was wounded.”
The Russian attacks on power plants in recent days, which led to the power outage as winter approached, were described as “hazardous” by the Ukrainian presidency on Tuesday.
“The situation is now dangerous in all parts of the country because our regions depend on each other,” the presidential official, Kirillo Timoshnko, told Ukrainian television, saying that “it is necessary for the entire country to prepare for the possibility of power, water and heating.
“According to Ukrainian President Voludmir Zellinski, Russian bombing caused a large-scale power outage in 30% of Ukraine’s power plants, cutting off the country’s supply of electricity.
According to Zellinski on Twitter, 30% of the power plants in Ukraine have been damaged since October 10th, which has led to significant breakdowns all around the nation.
