Turkish official: We have the infrastructure needed to build a gas center

The infrastructure required to set up an international gas centre on Turkish land is present, according to Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Qalin.
This is a crucial recommendation for Turkey. We have the infrastructure to put this into practise. Tanab, in addition to Russian gas, can supply gas to Europe (pipeline via Anatolia). So. With the expansion of this gas pipeline, Europe will benefit greatly from this development. The gas supply from the Mediterranean is possible.

The Turkish official went on to say that there are no issues and that talks are still ongoing between Turkey and Russia regarding gas payments. The Russian side is in negotiations with the Turkish “Potash” private “Botash.” The meetings are ongoing and there are no problems with payment and gas supplies.

In a speech last week at the plenary session of the “Russian Energy Week” forum, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that by constructing a “gas centre,” Russia could pump the quantities of gas that Europe lost due to the damage of the “Northern Seal” tubes to European countries via Turkey. He claims that this solution is both economically feasible and highly secure.
