The United States intends to release 10-15 million barrels of its other strategic reserves, according to American media.
Jennberg’s journalist, Jennifer Jacobs, said on her Twitter page that the administration of US President Joe Biden intends to take this measure with the aim of “maintaining a balance in the market and preventing high gas prices.

In an effort to lower the cost of gasoline in the nation, the US President announced on March 31 that the country will release one million barrels of oil per day for a period of six months from its strategic national reserves.
At the same time, the US Department of Energy will use oil revenues from reserves to purchase and renew energy in the coming years.

By the end of October, 180 million barrels of oil were supposed to be released; however, the most recent data indicates that only 155 million barrels were actually released to the market.
