The Ukrainian Foreign Minister asks Zelinski to cut diplomatic ties with Iran

President Vladimir Zellinski was given a proposal by the Kyiv government’s foreign minister, Dmitry Coleba, to sever diplomatic ties with Iran. Coliba has claimed that Iran is participating in the Russian private operation in Ukraine “by providing Russia with marches, and it also intends to provide it with a shipment of ballistic missiles,” he said..

He emphasised that if he blocked what he claimed was an Iranian supply of weaponry to Russia, Kiev could restart relations with Tehran.
Coliba has urged the foreign ministers of the nations that make up the European Union to censure Iran for its backing of Russia.
The Polish Foreign Minister Zbigenn Rao said that the European Union will achieve whether Russia was using Iranian marches in Ukraine.

According to Maria Zakharova, a representative for the Russian Foreign Ministry, the subject of Iranian marches is merely American media spin.
The Russian spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the Kremlin has no information on the issue of Iranian marches, and that all questions can be asked to the Ministry of Defense.

For his part, Nasser Kanaani, a spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, refuted the claims made in the American media that Russia received Iranian weapons for use in its own military action in Ukraine.

Zelinski is requested by the Ukrainian foreign minister to sever diplomatic ties with Iran.
